Hi, my name is David. Originally from Brainerd, Minnesota, I grew up in a small community surrounded by lakes, woods, and farmland. My journey into photography began in an unexpected way. I pursued a degree in engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology, but my passion for capturing the world around me soon took center stage.

In 2021, I moved to Los Angeles and bought my first camera, a 35mm Canon FTb with a broken light meter. Despite its imperfections, that camera ignited my love for photography. Today, I still cherish that Canon, but my equipment has evolved. I now use a Nikonos for 35mm shots and a Sony a7III for digital photography.

My work focuses on capturing the beauty and essence of the world around us, whether it’s a serene beach at sunset, candid moment in the city, or placing you center stage at your favorite artist. Each photograph tells a story, and I strive to create images that evoke emotion and connection.
